Built a roof rack for the 242 and refinished the taillights. Awaiting closing on the house (pending april 29th) so i can get the Air ride setup finally underway. anyway. some pics.

hurray for spring finally..ive missed driving this car.

Welded up a cage from old bed frame for the frame of the rack

then used an old picnic table as the wood supports. all screwed into the frame from the bottom.

Not too sure what to make of it, but if ya like it, rock it. The rest of the car though, I do know I like lol

I like everything except that mac sticker. That rack would look so nice if it was chrome like the trim on your car. Good job on the build and congrats on the house!

Honestly, nothing on Macs (although personally I hate them) but it doesn't fit your car man.

The roof rack on the other hand, superb my friend. Maybe put some tie down points?

A chair (two if it fits) a small table and an umbrella. This is the ONLY thing to do now. I will personally see to your demise if this is not completed. lol

nice! i like the chair/ beer idea. the tails look awesome with all red. i may have to do that this summer.
