ZF to AW71 Swap - Any Interest?

Hello yes it may be usefull to some people however it is a very easy swap I have done several, We never put ZF's back in they are junk as far as I am concerned. I mean even all the wiring is there and hooking up the od light to dash is even simple, thats why I love volvo.

I am interested in how to do it, what parts are needed. I have a 740 with a ZF that is no good and a spare aw to put in. Thanks, Steve...

Well other than just the tranny its best to get a doner car, You will need the tranny lines, cross member, driveshaft,and shifter assy w/ wiring, other than that every thing bolts up, just 4 10mm's from top holding the shifter in and as for the wiring, the neutral switch plugs up and most cars have the wiring overthere for the OD set up, If not some people just hook the selonoid to the key (ign) curcuit, only downfall is you cant use the button to disengage the OD for towing and mountins etc. Any questions you can e mail me rwturbo@aol.com
