how hard it is to find a 745 spoiler?
and do they just stick on regular 744's roof?
wat material they are made out of?

IF you bent it some it would almost fit on a 744. The back of the 744 faces more up than a wagon door. The other problem is that teh roof curve has a little tiny bit more curve than at teh back fo the tailgate. IF you could why would you want to though? The OEM 740 rear wing looks pretty good. There was a 780 wing, it may be the same as 740, but I think it is a little different. Does your car have a rear wing anyways?

That wagon in the foreground appears to have a V70 spoiler.

Good eye. I was parked next to a V70R not long ago, and it had that exact spoiler. I personally like the 945 spoiler a little better, but it is a little more subtile. The V90 lip spoiler is cool too for us wagon guys. Not exactly a spoiler, but it gives the roof a nice clean line from teh back IMO.

NO, no the 2 740's in the back ground. That kind of wing! I think that is what "chigga" is looking for. Right?

Ugh, don't get too winged out on the back there... I think a sedan would look pretty bad w/ that large wagon wing. Anybody have a pic of this v90 lip spoiler? I'm just curious as to what it looks like. The black car's lip is pretty suttle, you should do something small if anything, and probably nothing if you are going w/ a primary spoiler too.

A bit like this?:

I like it. I also like the 960 license plate light cover. Really cleans up the lines. I don't really dig the rear bumper, I prefer the 740SE rear bumper. As you can see it is a little less noticable than a 745 wing, it is also supposed to help aero drag to some degree.

Yeah, I definately want those two trim items for the back of my car. The lip is really subtle and clean, and the liscence plate trim is also a lot better too.

I pointed out the V70 wing as another option. I knew what he was looking for, a 745 spoiler on a 744.
Here's a '91 945 with the 960 treatment on the rear:

*edit* notice in the background, in front of the red 945, there's a tan vinyl seat. That's the one I made into a chair with a base from scrap lumber. :D

Yeah the 960 "treatment" is just that. I probably wouldn't go all out and paint the wiper arm white in my case. Also, that car has a 945 rear wing, not a 960 lip.

Anyone try to put one of these spoilers(945) on a 245? How much modification would it take?

I had it at Carlisle last year too. Got some odd looks, and one guy asked if I was building them to sell. Nope, just for sittin'!
BTW, May 16-18, 2003...Carlisle Import-Kit/Replicar Show. I'm tempted to get a hotel room and stay up there 2 days. Last year I drove up Friday, then came home, then drove up in a caravan Saturday.
