I'M NEW TO THE VOLVO WORLD AND AM LOOKING AT BUYING A 244.

HOW MUCH LOWER SPRINGS DO I NEED TO STILL BE ABLE TO RUN BIGGER WHEELS? I'M THINKING ABOUT 16" *7"WIDE.

ANY ADVISE WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

That was a joke; your comment is needed on a TON of boards over the net. The caps lock should be for EMPHASIS.

Yeah, no hard feelings bro, welcome to the volvo tuning world! If you are looking for 16", there are a few options. I don't know exactly what is available to you in Australia, but you might have a harder time finding 16"x7 than 17x7", but I dunno. The 16" wheels that came on a lot of later 940 turbos and 740 turbos, the hydra, is only 6.5" wide. I would say this is one of the more common 16" for the rear wheel drive volvos. Good luck man!
