I actually got my fingers out this morning and scanned a little bit...

I've scanned pics from 1993 and 1997 Volvo parts catalogues.

It's mostly pics of different Bodykits, but also the R-sport (Maybe only called "sport" these days??) interior and an R-Sport Boost gauge.

I Don't know if you have these intetiors in the US, I've never heard you talking about them anyway.

Well, I admit that the pic is from an 850, BUT They're also available for 200 700 900 +more models, and also in different colors!

so the SE bodykti is actually from R-Sport???

and the interior one was too wicked!!!!!!!!!!

only if they had in beige color... I'd sell my left testicle to put that in my car.

No, the bodykit isn't R-Sport... Normal Volvo options

The Interior was from the beginning R-Sport, but I'm not sure if they removed the 'R' In the name of them or not in the new ones

Mad Chicca: I'm afraid you've said to much :D

They're actually available in Beige, and In fact I have door panels and headrestcovers in Beige left over for a 700 series ;)

But I have to ask:

Don't you have these interiors in the states??

Not that that would buy you a whole lot ;)

WOW! Tha is one TiGhT interior...man do they come in dark blue for the 240...and if so how can i get one...if its still possible. I've never seen anything like that before...more then likely just an overseas thing.

I Think I have to scan more pics of the interiors...

Note that it's just some cloth ypou are putting over tour normal interior, BUT with some better sidesupports for front seats (And probably back seat for newer models like 800 series and newer)

Once they were available in blue/black, red/black, beige/black, grey/black and multicolour

I don't think red is still available, but I hope that the others are...

Also for the 200 and 700 series.

So to get that look in a 240 i'd have to first change over to an 850 interior, and then get the fancy covers... thats disapointing....imagine it came in a kit...front and rear sport seats with cool coverings all matching... not like having a goofy drivers seat and having the rest of the car (or at least the back seats) looking totally different. It'd be hella expensive tho...

Actually these were supposidy made for post 86 240's. So if you could get some post 86 seats you would drop some weight and look better. I am not sure what you do if you have a 242 though, as the seats have to rock foreward.

Now JE, Jr.....if we did, would all be having orgazms like this over the pics???

Is that interior from an 850???

Anymore of your scans and I'll be requesting political asylum at the Swedish embassy!

I´m positive.
or maybe volvo finland is bull****ing me...

I got new ones to my 240 about 3 years ago, and the pirce was about 500€, just for the seat covers.. that´s a bit pricey anyway..

IF you can get can find them and they aren't terribly expensive than I'd say go for it. But to me, all the effort you'd have to go through (and I'm sure the price) I'd just get some good after market seats

For what OEM covers go for, I bet to have a shop upholster it in lookalike fashion wouldn't be too far off the mark.

Any you fellas across the pond have some pics of an R-sport interior in a 200, 700 or 900 series? Did they even make them for those models?

JE Jr

Well. so I went to the dealer today.

I checked the availability of two models today:
blue/black 244 86-
seat covers: ~€290
head rest covers, front: ~ €50
rear: the same

744 beige/black
The same prices!!

Wagons available, but different part numbers... Possibly because of different backseat +head rest covers

And I forgot to check prises/availability on door panels for 700 series... sorry. But they should be @ about €50

The guy found the other parts in the computer anyway, so it SHOULD be available!

Well, they're actually cheaper now than some years ago!

They are/were available for 2,4,7,8,900 series, and possibly for the S/V70 and maybe some more??

PS. I ordered the lower GT braces for my 240 ~€30 ;) DS.

I have the R sport Interior in my 740 Estate.

I can take some pictures and post them on here if people are still interested to see what they look like in the flesh.

Those covers have cushions to add lateral support to the seats? That'd be sweet especially for 7XX "buckets" which have almost no lat support. I still want a set of those air dam splitters,

 :urgod:

My interior is black. I have to have some of those seatcovers. And I MUST have that body colored front bumper/air dam

maybe 90 tails and the 90 rear bumper?...then I could get a 740SE emblem...and say I have the world's only '89 744SE :-D

*Prices in Euro (€)

*The front seat covers have all (at least I suppose so) cushions on backrest for better sidesupport.

Some, I think It's 940 (some year, don't remember... and newer) have also sidesupports on rear-seat seat covers.

At the local Volvo dealer they said they should be still available, most of them, and maybe all...

*If you have black interior, a Black/grey model would suit you...
