MS2 3.57, wasted spark.
I was only getting spark on one coil. So I used the test mode in tunerstudio. it turns out that coil A does nothing. Coil B fires what I thought was coil A (pin 36). And coil C fires what I thought was coil B (pin 10 on the DB15).
Any thoughts?

Pin36 is Spark A and Spark B is whatever open pin you want to use. Im using pin6 for Spark B or what I think is spark B.
What are you using for your spark points? R26-29 or Pads 1-4?

That's the crazy thing... the coil that I have hooked up to pin 36 fires when I test coil B.

There's no standardized pinout for ignition on the MS boards. The pins for your coils/igniters depend on whoever built the ecu.
Easiest way to tell is open up the ecu and see which ignition output pad connects to which pin on your ecu.

I'll take a closer look at it. But I only have two coil drivers, so why are they they on B and C? I am waiting for an email back from DIYautotune, I'll pass on what they say.

I may take you up on that... Its got to be a config issue. I am sure I am just missing something stupidly simple.

Jeezee Creezee, I think I figured it out!
The boys at DIYautotune did not solder the spark outputs correctly. Instead of using pin 7 of U1 (for spark A) and pin 8 (for spark B) they soldered the wires to pins 8 and 9. I am pretty sure this is why I get spark on B and C and nothing on A.

I hated how its all crammed on the board. Also if you ever go to 4 spark out you have 2 on the main harness and 2 out the aux or out the front.
I just built a proto area on my board and put a DB9 connector out the back.

Mine has the double heat sink, so its not too bad on space. And I have room for a few more coil drivers

Well, its up and running, fixing DIY's mistake did it. I am a little disappointed in them, though. Up until this, I have had a GREAT experience with them. But as soon as I pointed out a mistake that they made, I got ZERO response from them.

Thats odd. Ive never had an issue with them. Even when I killed my v3.0 board they felt bad for me and gave me 10% off my purchase on a v3.57
Keep us posted on this i have not bought from them in 6 months. I'd like to know what happens.
It is Memorial Day weekend so people may be gone unable to respond till after TUE/WED

Good point, It was Thursday that I figured out what happened. I am definitely giving them the benefit of the doubt on this one. I still think they are a top notch company.
