Dude, you have a 5.7L engine, and all you can make is 350 RWHP? :oops: I couldn't live with myself if I drove a car like that. Not to mention the total lack of interior space and cheap build quality. But I guess that's why there's more than one make/model of car for sale, ISN'T IT?!?! :eek:

Seriously, if you break down Pat's track times and figure it by weight, he's making more than 250whp...thats only a mildly modded (no offense) volvo running low 14's same as a stock lt1 car and its got less than half the displacement.

Well, I seriously doubt I was at 250rwhp, but I do appreciate the compliment. Maybe with all the stuff I'm adding now, but I seriously doubt that my never been apart 200k mile b21ft was pumping out 300fwhp.
On another note though John Lane IS pumping out WAY more than your puny lil TA. Try 504ftlbs at the wheels and 600ish hp.
There is always someone faster.
Where are you located? I'd like to embarrass you with my new motor in about a month. Care to go for pinks? Or are you still making payments?

My Volvo would stand NO chance in a drag race, but places where it does win is build quality, and turning radius. My Volvo shares the driveway up here with an 02' corvette convertible w/ intake and exhaust, and back home my buddies dad has an 99 SS and the new anniversary edition camaro(gee i wonder why they stopped production) anyways its pretty sad when you turn up the tunes on your new vette with a nice stock system, and all you hear is the sound of you doors and side mirrors vibrating. But the bad turn radius isn't that big a deal, instead of 5 point turns, i just do it in one... just let the ass out for an nice 180, 360, 720... They aren't bad cars for GM but still, it would be nice if they put a little more effort into them to make them worth the money.

I just finished reading this thread. That guy (fire chicken) obviously doesnt get that volvos are tough, reliable, good looking(well the ones with out too much goddam rust under the rear wheel well) are extrreamly easy to maintain( except for the blower motor and some other wack stuff that volvo never fixed), plus fun to drive.
Its the charm that i love about my volvo its sometimes a good car and sometimes a very very bad car.
