im not sure what we gonna do with NorCal vs SoCal this year ... SB is no go ... and im not sure what other venues are available ... its a pain to do an event that you dont live near

It would be great to have you here, but good call. You should definitly hit up the Davis meet later on though, it's about 400 miles closer and gets alot of nice Volvos.

hmm, the davis meet is 14.5 hours away...that would be plausable if it was on a 3 day weekend (so it didn't mess with my classes too bad)

Im about 1 hour away, so hopefully someone closer knows where we may be able to meet up, also is that parking lot is small, where are they going to put over 500 cars, which is what they said they had last year....something doesnt quite add up here.

Well....i dunno the area some someone say we will meet at somewhere and go from there or something. Ya know how much more impressive it is when you get a line of volvos entering a thing like this....(from the SB meet, i remember a guy saying damn! thats a lot of volvos.)

a personal update: im going to sb friday afternoon to put my interior back together, test my oil line for leaks, and test the new map sensor. If everythign works out, I'll wash it it up and drive down saturday morning. if somrething catastrophic happens hwoever, and it usually does, i may get stranded in sb. ick. pray for me.

its the 101 in the ventura area. and apparently the only other way around takes 6 hours normally, but it's having closures as well because of mudslides. so ****.

any of you guys live near the 15 and 91 freeway that could give me a ride? I just blew the engine in my 242.. my 190e is in front of my house with a broken prepeller shaft, trans mount and shift linkage.. and the wrx is in the garage smashed up.. ya I like to ruin cars 1 after another..

I wouldnt need a ride back home.. cuzz I am prolly going to be riding home with justin (deer turds vs. coyote sh1t)
