...well i haven't run my volv since november, and i was the only brick there that time. Dave lotman showed up with his 240 turbo last summer, and we definetly looked odd rolling with the imports and muscle cars that lurk the staging lanes... I have a few people that will come for sure. I just wanted to post here so some other volvo guys come up and join the fun this year....I'd like to see if nuerot75, dariceripper, yorkbrick, and badfish740 could come....it'd be cool to see dave lotman again. Someone should bring a good digital camera and post some pics. I haven't really done much to the motor since i ran it last november (14.6@96), so i'll be just running around the same timeslip unless i do any drastic changes in the meantime...most of the work is going into the other motor that will be done by summer...but anyhow, leave a post if your comin', and i'll look out for you...it's really easy to find a volvo amid all the rice and muscle. cheers.

i really wanna go but i dont think i'll be racing. i havent done any mods to my car as of yet, and i doubt its prepped for a race, i dunno how it would hold up although i would love to participate however ive never raced before. I'll come to hang out and talk to ppl and watch.
but where englishtown? im in ridgewood which is north bergen (foken hate it here) its exit 163 on the parkway

I may be able to make it...gotta see how things are with school and all. If I do come I'll be glad to help out and be "pit crew" for someone as I won't be racing :( The car isn't even close to being done and I won't have the time (or money) to finish it before summer. What time is this shindig goin down?

Just checkin in to find out who is and who isnt

going. Me and my friend are still going. All though we will probably only be running with the 245 GLTi unless i

give the 850 a run. Either way just wanted to see if anyone was meeting up.

let me know. Also I would liek to mentioned ever sunday there is a small airport that has amatuer drag racing

with all street cars and different makes and models at the pocono airport outside stroudsburg on Route 209 in PA.

I will be going to that a lot this spring -summer season. Anybody around there wanan met up we can make plans. I

know you guys and your volvos will own lot's of ricers. There rices aren't so quick. Lot's of volkswagens like

older gti's, jettas like 89 - 95. There are some pretty crazy muscle cars that will be shocked as hell to see a

volvo running good times. I had to shut some guys up with my porshce last year. I brought a volvo and they

laughed and some chevelle tore me a new asshole and I was having fun with the jettas. It's all fun. So i got a

little mad cuz my 780 isn't fast so I brought out the big guns. Ask Robin about the pic. He will tell you

haha.

i'm still going, my car probably won't be gone

by then...just hope i don't blow anything up before the sale is final...wish i had a good cam and a stall speed

in it, it needs it...but yea it'll be fun. Oh, cf bertone....it's a night session, i'll probably get there

around 5 or 6pm...don't know how late you have school tho...hey badfish, if your close (in west orange, no?) i

could drive you down....and if nuerot75 and dariceripper wanna meet up on the parkway on the way down, you can

follow me there. It'd be cool to roll with like 3 or 4 bricks to the track. Let me know...i'd suggest meeting

at 4:30 pm sharp at union, exit 141 i think, and then jumpin back on the parkway....let me know what u think.
