Last saturday and sunday I went to the local Enduro. Saturday the weather was crap. Alot of us had a good time drifting in the rain. Sunday came and it was still wet, but there was hope since it wasnt supposed to rain, and the sun was supposed to come out. My sister had to run in the first run group, so she dealt with the wet surface. I however was in the 3rd rungroup, and i thank the rest of the cars for drying off the asphalt for me.

thanks i forgot to mention that i took first in my class, and even with 2 near-DNFs and 2 cones i still was faster than Norcal745ti's ex-GF. Ive got the trophy to prove it.

Makes me thankful for the great lot and course design we have in the DC region. That course looks very restrictive. Cones lining the sides of the "racing line" aren't really necessary. If you have a series of gates seperated by 20-30 yards of open space, people get creative with the racing line. Also makes spins very possible w/o going off course or hitting a cone. And drifting is an option too, whether intentional or not, w/o ruining a run.

I'm driving a small course on sunday, and it will be a drastic change from what I'm used to. Good thing my tires are already dead!
