Okay, so I'm gonna go with FWD rims on my 242 GT. I started that poll and, no suprise, everybody likes Titans. No doubt, they are illy. However, I was searching more rims and found a Volvo rim I've never seen before, which is saying something considering I live in Portland. They are remiscent of the Starfish style 850 rims, but with much narrower spokes. They are hot!

They are down the page a bit, but you can't miss them. The picture sucks, but you can geta good idea. If anyone has a better picture of these rims, please post it so I can decide weather they are the ones I want. Thanks.

Yeah, I've noticed those rims in catalogs before, and I really liked them, but I have never seen them on a car, not even in pictures. They must be fairly rare. I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for a set of those.

If anyone's got pics of them on a car, that would be cool.

I see errors in names and wheel diameters. Which ones are you talking about? I didn't see any labeled aquilla.

Lloyd has E's in 17x8 I think...not 5x108 though, he used adapters to change to another bolt pattern.

derosa,

I have looked at those on tire rack before. did you have to use spacers? I was thinking about getting a set in the spring.

Better get a tire with rim protection [read:wider tire than a 205], its not so much the edge of the wheel, just that the wheel has no lip at all, so if you hit something, you'll do up the spokes too.
