This is a hot rod built by Volvo concept designer Lief Tuffvesson. I couldn't find many pictures, just this one. I saw it in Hotrod Magazine today on my lunch hour. It was Hot Rod of the Year for 2004, the only foreign built hot rod to ever take that position. Ladies (all three of you) and gentlemen, I present you the Lief Tuffvesson Volvo T6 Roadster :D

Looks like a Plymouth Prowler that has had a minor makeover.

I'm pretty sure the chassis is from some kind of volvo, not sure which though. But everything else was built from scratch. The guy built it mostly by himself in his home garage. This wasn't a Volvo factory assisted project.

It could be a custom chassis too. If you can build an entire body for a car building the frame would be real easy!

Looks great imo. i like the style of the prowler as we have no cars that look like it. Now, a volvo that looks like a prowler. Just need to get it to the UK now.

A Volvo chassis with inboard pushrod-actuated coilovers?

Wait, reading the slip about the car, and doing loose translation:
-Volvo sponsored the T6 and the Brakes
-Dunlop for the tires, Sony for the stereo, Dupont for the paint...
-Custom aluminum/CF chassis

My swedish sucks, but that's what I gather from it.
