Just curious, I did my first all-weekend car project in a while.
Oddly enough it should be a day project, but due to the fact I do not have a *real* jack or jackstands at my apartment [I have everything at my disposal at work, where I usually work on the cars], I had to take each wheel off with the spare tire jack and put on the spare, one wheel at a time. Started at 6 pm saturday and finished this evening. I was gonna do a full detail to the car, again, but it decided to start raining last night and today, so I called that off.
Did the same thing I did to my virgos on the 240 over a year ago but to my Satelitte's on the V70R- Used Dupli Color Graphite paint/sanded the wheels down with various grits of sandpaper before the paint. Worked well the first time. This time though it wasnt so smooth. For some reason on the second can on paint, which I used to paint the front wheels, it did not want to stick to the surface of the wheel. It'd clump together and the end result was not exactly smooth. I suppose I'll strip them down again in the future and repaint them, but for now I dont have to worry about photoshop my wheels graphite anymore :-P
These will do until I get some Pegasus/ATS/Team Dynamics or something
