it snow'd here today, so I had the urge to put on the snow tires for some weird reasons, then I remember snow tires are lot smaller than my summer, so I can slam the car proper and make it sit on bump stops, so I set it to as low as I possibly could and took some pix w/different effects on the camera. YES I DRIVE THIS CAR LIKE THIS. the rear are Rikens

I drive the car once every 2 weeks in my parking lot

anyways, gonna get some OEM hubs to complete the winter gangsta look. And I think I get the title as Lowest 740 on coilover in North America??? and remember kids, real men rides on coilovers, not air rides.

u live in canada and have snow tires and your car rides like that? are you nutz? what could those tires possibly do with that shroud acting like a plow? i have draged my undercarrage throught the snow more than once on my car. and i live in mass. and have a stock ride height. i wish you the best of luck. if you survive a winter like that you are either 1. more of a man than me. or 2. somebody who has everything he needs within walking distance.

crazy.

I know yours is a 700, mine's a 200, but anyway...this is with 475 lb springs and 17s...225/45 Azenis to be exact. Still working on the rear.

Can't turn more than ~10 degrees before the tire hits the fender liner :)

And no, that's not a photoshop, just need to clean the wheels! :)

No coil overs, just springs up front...say hello to the plow.

That is, if it was going to see winter duty [as of now, it isn't].

justin drives his 740 on coil overs (mvp) as low as they go every day.

his 145 is as low as robs car in the front (and rear for him too) though... it tries to light the tires on fire when I ride in it. Course he cut the inner fender out completely now so that helps

chigga why not use your coilover capabilities for

super jacked winter mode special setting spec S

MikeHardy

a set of longer but softer spring on max hieght would be cool for winter driving

My coilovers are ITB 240 spec...Koni double adjustables, shortened tubes, 8" springs. Without springs on mine, with the Koni at full compression, and camber plate mounted, the top of the plate is lower than the top of the stock strut tube :)

Definetely putting on the other coilovers for some winter ride height though :) There's no drifting like snow drifting!!!

the golf is the winter ride?
i thought ur'e selling it?????
i dont get it.
anyway that is way too low for anything but smooth road cruising.
city driving is out of hte question for that. I dontknow how Canada is but NYC will take you down, rape you, eat you up and spit you out. BUT i do see M3's driving htere at times, so i dunno.
but anyway that is dangerous but looks like fun.

until its sold I'll drive it thru out the winter.

if its sold, I'll drive something else thru out the winter.

my car has travelled 2km since August 28th. And planning keep it under 10km from August 28th til May 1st.
