I'm not sure if this is the performance, but I need to make a list of all the parts that bolt to the outside of a motor that might cause fitment issues.

The motor in question is my SBC that is going into the 122.

Here is the list so far:

Exhaust Manifolds
Starter
Water pump
Front pulleys
Valve covers
Air cleaner
Alternator

What am I forgetting?

Fuel pump if sticking with Mechanical, harmonic balancer, intake manifold. Oil filter - go remote then no worries. I'm guessing no A/c though that seems like it would be a bitch in so cal without one so A/C if you are adding or keeping that. Radiator shroud if you aren't going electric.

When we did my friends sbc into a TR6 we made an 1/2 in alluminum plate machined with all the holes for the front of the block, water in out and waterpump holes and that became our engine mount. Very ridgid and allowed us to hang stuff off the plate and removed all issues with trying to use the stock motor mount locations. Just a thought...

Thanks
Renny

No rear dump. That way it will for sure clear the suspension.
