I trew another 242 together for a friend of mine.
The B21ET i put in it this summer got a little tired (two pistons blown, bent rods etc) and the K-jet was acting up all the time so i replaced it with a rebuilt B21ET block with forged pistons, lightend flywheel etc, a ported 530 head, trim 60 T03, ported 940 exhaust manifold, 940 intake manifold, -968 injektors etc.

When the car was in the garage i upgraded the suspension a bit, the old stockparts was not in perfekt kondition..

Shortend R-sport shocks in the front.

The only thing on this car that gives away that there isn't a tired old B21A in it, sleepers are fun.. ;-)

Started tuning it a little last night, it runs ok but its hard to do some serius tuning in the snow and there is some issues with a couple of leaks around the intake that will be fixed tonight.

More pics and maybe a clip when its done.

Sleepers ARE fun. I had a 2.3 turbo in the rustiest piece of a '77 242 you've ever seen. Never woulda known, but eventually lowered springs and big exhaust gave it away. Still, it was ugly enough that you'd never have guessed.

That's a nice MS kit - is that Glen's Garage?

Nope, that is parts from a swedish elektronicparts store and the partial kit from grippo.

The springs are "Lesjöfors", a swedish brand.
Perfect hight and pretty hard, alot of people over here use them.
