four-eyed 200-series

Hello, fellow Volvo fans. I'm new. I miss my '87 740GLE and my '91 940 Turbo, but what I really want is one of these, in black:

I don't see many of those four-eyed sedans for sale. This forum is the place to "ask questions about styling... modifications," and I didn't see the topic covered here, so my question is this: What years of 240/244/242 will those awesome round headlights swap into without sheetmetal replacement/modifications?

Will be near impossible to find in black, plan on painting one.

Those headlights will fit 75-85.

Buy any coffin hood car and swap the quad rounds in. There are a few sets (I have one) up for sale.

So, essentially, you want this...



Pick up a 1981-82 242 or 244 Turbo, then install the 1978-80 244/245 headlamps on it.
