Bay area volvo caravan to davis car show and meet

To all bay area volvo owners:

There is going to be a volvo caravan to the davis car show and meet on sunday april 27th. I just wanted to make sure that all of you turbo brick members were aware of the caravan in case some of you wanted to meet up with us and ride out to davis. I'll post the information below along with a link to the map of the meeting site. Hope to see some of you there.

When: Sunday april 27th at 9:00am

Where: The park and ride lot located at the highway 116 and highway 121 junctions in big bend.


We'll meet up and then head out to davis. If any south bay or east bay volvo owners want to meet up with the caravan at the highway 12 and interstate 80 junction, let me know of a good parking lot or open space near the junction and we can set a meeting time of around 10:00am for the second meeting spot.

That sounds really cool, 3 of my 240 friends and I already planned to follow each other up but we cant wait till 9:00 though...We're to excited! :mrgreen: Or how far of a drive from the meeting spot is it to Davis? I wanna be there early!

I'd say that the meeting spot is about an hour and a half from davis. I didn't want to make the meeting time too early, but if it is too late for you guys we'll see you in davis. We probably will arrive in davis around 11:30-12:00.

The meeting location for the caravan is just south of the town of sonoma, in sonoma county. If you're in sacramento, you're welcome to join us, but I think that you would have to drive by davis and keep going about an hour and a half. Then when you met up with us you would basically just retrace the route that you took to get to the meeting spot. It would be a lot of backtracking on your part, but like I said, you're more than welcome to join the caravan. If you want to meet up with the caravan and are still confused as to where it is, pm me or just post again.

I plan to come from petaluma on 116 so thats the rout i planed to take, it will be cool to have a group to travel with. (maybe we can intimidate some biker clubs ;)
