I've got another style with the brake ducts up higher against the bottom of the car. I'll try and get pics tomorrow and post them.

Personally I don't like that style that IPD sells too much... they also have another version that I also don't like... Andrew has a 740 spoiler, but it's mounted to the front bumper... I like this one:

Here's another one chillin around here on the web:

I actually like this the most... 850R bumper? or V70r? or something along those lines...

I plan on having one of those bumpers on one of my 140 series cars someday...

This is, or is a molded from an Volvo R-Sport front air-dam!

Of those shown here I think it's the best looking without any doubt....

Volvo R-Sport duck-tail (maybe not that good looking :) )
Here test-mounted on daddys 142:

Called and asked them? No, I meant that it looks frightening. Why would I call to ask about something I don't want? :e-shrug:

I have a rear spoiler like that. came off a 78 gt.

If you put a 240 airdam it looks pretty much just like that rsport airdam just different vents. Agree it looks the best.

Hey I will take some pics of the one I got from GTJordan for my 145. I haven't mounted it yet but pics of just it will show that it is unlike any of the ones that have been posted. The brake duct channels use the front sheet metal of the car as part of the duct work. It's lightweight fiberglass and iirc was a reproduction or an R sport one done by ipd (I could be wrong).

Ok so I finally got off my butt.

http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/416269/8

It's at the very bottom of the page sorry for it being all unorganized it'll have it's own page later. I haven't mounted it yet as I am going through hell for fuel pumps and I just want to drive.

I have a fuel pump man... It should work... I can't remember if I pulled it off of my 74 or if it's from the 71 that i currently have in my car. If it's from the 74, I can guarentee that it worked for me when I pulled it half a year ago. If it's from the 71, no guarentees... But yeah, it's on Ebay right now, and I just upped the price on it cause I don't really want it to sell just yet. I might need it in a weekend or two or rescuing a car. But maybe not... Want it?

And that air dam's pretty nice... :-D

So whatcha thinkin Tony?

lol yeah I am getting a new replacement for the other new replacement that broke the arm off. I might be looking for a gas tank soon as mine is full of rust. I still don't know if it will come off. I may have another list of things I need soon. I know I need a tailgate as it's bondoed and rusty and the lock is broken plus it doesn't totally shut. I may use the rusty blue one off my 83 240 for a bit until i find a nicer one.

If anyone has more info on my air dam let me know I should get it mounted soon it looks too good on the car to not mount.

Wellllll, you COULD just ya know, hand it over this direction, and you wouldn't have to worry about mounting it up... :-P How does it mount up anyway? Or do you not really know either?

It has 5 plastic screw plugs. The type that expand when you tighten a screw in them. I'll have to mock it up and get it all aligned and drilled but it should look pretty good. Jordan talked me into it just be holding it up on the car lol. I promised him I'd keep it and if it ever got taken off the car it'd go back to him. You never know if there was enough interest maybe gemini would copy it. Mmm that'd be nice lol

If you do decide to mount back the bumper, you could put a 240 spoiler (http://www.powerpuff.net/volvo/misc/140_spoiler.jpg) on it.

Wow that 240 spoiler does look pretty decent on there. I would totally do that but I ahve the other and I'm trying to keep the car going with stuff from teh right time period made for it so it won't get in a hot rod class at a car show. Man it's suprising how good that looks.

Can you not see the picture Andrew? It shows up for me... Well, it's the car from the first three links in my post above, check it out. It's hot!

But Tony, I'm pretty sure it's a custom setup... :-( Another thing I'm interested in, if I didn't already mention it, is putting an 850R or T5R or V70R type bumper on the front of my car... :badboy:
