image hosting

quick question...what's the site of choice to do image hosting with free direct linking? pbase won't let me direct link for my signature, and yahoo won't either....thanks.

i think with the new host i may offer temporary image uploading w/ backups available. of course this would be members only.

as a contributor you can upload directly to the board... theres a "manage attachments" at the bottom of the reply form. (not the quick reply).

But for off-topic of things that arent volvo related i usually use www.imageshack.us its free, its quick, and it allows hotlinking.

Has something changed since the board shut down last night? I've noticed that images linked from Picasa no longer show up.

ImageShack is slow and packed full of popup ads. My popup blocker goes nuts every time I open an image hosted on ImageShack

Pbase is dirt cheap and photobucket is free. photobucket is my recommendation
