Midwest Meet

I have been trying to get ahold of anyone that is in the wisconsin area or anywhere that is even remotly close. If anyone has any ideas on a place that they think that will work let me know. I am willing to drive just about anywhere and it would be cool if a bunch of us could get together.

I was thinking of something in the Chicago area since that is pretty central for most of the midwest guys. I live in Milwaukee, WI, and that is only about 2 hrs away. I will be in TX (hopefully) in june, so maybe schedule something for july? There are some nice parks and stuff down there. Post some ideas, but I think the chicago area will be the best for most of us.

Since the last midwest meet thread, I've joined the air force and am scheduled for basic training and tech school from may through september, so I'm bowing out of the whole "midwest meet planning."

If you still want to meet @ a central location, US 41 is 1 hr 40 min south of chicago and about 45 min north of me. If we schedule something before the beginning of may I might be able to make it. If not, I'll see y'all in September!

Chicago is good for me. all we need to do is find out a place that we can meet. I hope that some other people respond to this too. It would be awewsome to get a big turnout

Isnt St Loius accually the center of the midwest. Gateway to the west.... center of the danm country.

If it is 2 hours from WI it is not centrally located to squat. IMHO

Lee Cordner replied to a post i made on the email list. If anyone wants to head up the midwest meet planning, talk to him. I don't think i would be up to plan it if need be, but would attend.

It just seems like people have lost interest.

I don't know if anyone is still reading this thread but I've got a date and time for a meet in Davenport IA. It'll be on the last sat in July. this isn't one of those things that some guys say, hey lets have a meet, but nothing materializes. This thing is set in stone. I've already got 6 cars arranged to be there. and at least that many people. The more that are there, the more fun it will be. For all the info, time, directions, PM me. Hope to see you all there.
