Well, to answer the question, yes, actually it does get better. I'm lowering the car Sunday :-D . But today alot was done aswell. Chris (the poi) helped me out this afternoon and we put in my new set of E-codes. I love them.
Here is the car before (who would have thought it could get any better as is? :-P ):
http://i.snapandshare.com/22/7123/105498.jpg
And here it is now:

And just think, I got it looking like this:

A big thanks to Chris for helping me install them (actually, basically installing them for me ;-) ) and to Nick (Blue Cube) as well for hooking me up with these E-codes in the first place. Everyone stay tuned for the lowering thread, which is soon to come  .

Looks great. How much did the lights set you back? Was wiring it difficult? I'm thinking of attempting this later if my budget permits, but I'd need to first convert to the foglight frame assembly since my car has none right now and I don't think the E-codes will work with them.

Looking great, Gian! Are they setup with or without relays, though?

Correct. You'll need a bumper too, since the ones with fogs are deeper.

personally i hate 940's....
except those with ecodes.
those ecode headlights totally make the car and it looks so much more refined,
the american ones just look cheap.

Thanks for the compliments guys! The US headlights are just a joke when you compare them to the E-codes, both aesthetically and in terms of light output and pattern. The installation was surprisingly simple, and after watching Chris, I could easily do it myself. No relays are involved (yet) but I haven't gotten the fog lights to work, and they might need them (I don't have the right bulbs yet to test them). As for where to get them, Eurosporttuning.com (http://www.eurosporttuning.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=EST&Product_Code=300-009-EHK) sells them, and Todd (turbo16psi) I believe might be able to get ahold of them for you for a bit less, but I have never done business with him myself.

Could be... I haven't gotten the lot nubers down yet. The movie bilboard in the background for 'Hitchhiker's Guide' is facing West and at the intersection of where Midvale turns into Galey and crosses with Wilshire.

Yep, lot #32.
Just don't leave your car there after dark. At least from 10 years ago, the SW corner was home to most of the hobos in the city. Not saying that they're all bad - you have a greater chance of vandalism by a drunk off Gayley/Landfair/Strathmore, but still.

As far as wheels go, I currently have some Michelins on which I am in love with, and are also under warrenty. Once the warrenty is up, or I kill the tires, I'll start seriously looking for rims, but until then I'm happy with the Hydras. Ultimately I want to go to something larger (17-18) and ideally would love something obnoxious and chrome (I know I might get alot of sh!t for this). I think sticking with a 5 spoke would be best, I really like being able to see through the rim. If I don't go chrome, I'm not oppsoed to the silver color which my Hydras currently are, and might be interested in something along the lines of Pegs or Tritons, which I really like alot aswell. None the less, this won't happen for a while... but you guys on Tbricks will be the first to know about it and see pics.

Dude, I love your car with those e-codes. I'm with you on the 5 spokes. Pegasus would look amazing on that car. Cough! POLARIS! cough! ahem...

I remember you having plans of having the best 940 on TB right? Or something along those lines? I feel(personally, lol, but you aren't really asking for my opinion...), that you DEFINITELY would need 18"ers and something that is NON-Volvo to get that "title". If it's something that everyone can duplicate pretty easily, then it wouldn't be anywhere near as special. I love five spokes, so that's perfectly cool, but I just can't imagine it being a Volvo wheel on your car, sure it would look good, but it wouldn't make the car as special as a set of different hard to get or really rare wheels or something along those lines. And yeah, costs money... But still! Love it man, I think you know what I'm saying, but yeah, just my opinion... Lata!

Thanks again. I'm with you Klr in terms of not going Volvo rims. I'll probably end up going with whatever good deal I can get down the road. The car, minus the expensive of buying it (which I luckily didn't incur because my Dad was gracious enough to give the car to me) so far has been built at ridiculous good prices. If I have to pay full price for wheels down the road I will definitly go for something non-Volvo because with them I will definitly need spacers, so I don't see a point.
As for the best 940 on TB, there is alot of compitition. I hope my car will one day represent a perfect balance of all the other 940s (and other 7/9 series cars) on the board which have inspired mine and given me great ideas.

If you're willing to wait, I'd suggest dealing with FCP Groton. I paid well less than what EST wants for the set of lamps + corners.
