lol.. Im hoping for help ;)

I want to put a damn pic of the holset in my avatar (the only picture-bitch-free zone I guess) but they just won't fit. Even at 60X60 highest compression.

do NOT use jpg compression.. use GIF :wink: I was running into the same problem.

if you take the image, go to image | image size | change it to 60x6 pixels then go to file | save as | ____.jpg and hit ok...then set it to about 3 or 4 on teh compression bar you should be under 6kb

if not, after resizing it to 60x60 go to image | mode | index color change it to 128colors/none forced/no transparency and hit ok (save it in normal mode cause indexing uses a little space) that will be well under 6kb

Great....then we can have 8x10 avatars to go with the 8x10 signature pics and consume the remaining 10% of the bandwith thats left.

Its old enough needing a T-line to load INFO pages in less than an hour.
