90+ EXHAUST manifold on my 244 GLT?

I told my volvo parts guy (he's got a lot of a 100 or so volvos) I needed a 90+ manifold- and he brought me back an intake manifold, it was in a bag and I didn't realize it until I got it home. But I'm looking for a exhaust manifold right- for better flow? I was looking at this intake- I think its from a 700 series- it looks like the angle it sits at, along with the throttle body and intercooler elbow would sit to high- and not allow my hood to shut. It does look better than my stock intake though. Obviously I'm a bit lost here- somebody clear this up for me

yeah, you're looking for an exhaust manifold, for better flow. without cracks.

hard to tell what intake manifold you got and whether it would do anything for you. sounds like more trouble than it would be worth.

and the exahaust manifold should bolt straight to the turbo with no problems correct?

Well, you could check out the new article on the 700 manifold on your 240 found here:

That will also help your low end response as well as allow you to use some upgraded equipment (such as turbo hoses, throttle cable, etc)

But, yeah you were looking for an exhaust manifold.

that looks great- I'm definitely keeping this thing around. I paid 75 for it... ouch but maybe he'll give me a deal on some of that other stuff.

ya ouch, ida shipped you one for $50! I hope he gives you all the hoses and whatnot no extra charge. watch evilbay for exhaust manifolds, at least to get an idea of price (add....$25 for shipping to Alaska I'd guess) so he doesn't hose you on that.
