Because http://asp.turbo.com.sg/technical_turbo_fundamentals.asp that wold answer a ton of noob questions, and fill in a lot of info for the rest of us.

yeah that would be awesome to duplicate (paraphrase) that type of stuff to buff up the article section

as for the 50 results, 1. havent figured out where its set like that 2. gotta write an option to return "more" rather then giving you 100+ results automatically as it taxes the server.
as i mentioned, i'll write up a guide to getting the best results from your searches which might help some folks out and stick it below the search form.

thoughts on a "quick search" stuck at the bottom of each forum page next to the "jump box" no one uses?

Sometimes I use the jump box.
I like the turbo site idea.
How about a "next 50 results" button?

yeah thats what i ment by "more" basically a button giving you the next 50 or 100 or whatever but only returning 50 initally
