ok gotta start this going. we are demolitioning my old 940 turbo. on july 3rd at seekonk speed way. i wanna make a big event out of it. its a sunday so saturday night we can party it up put some people up and then head the 25 min to seekonk form my place. plenty to do. my car runs and runs pretty well now minus a searching idle. should be ready to meet up with people by then.

so yeah july 2 party at night. 3rd wake up have break fast do some **** killing time go to demolition. watch the fireworks. party again adn then july 4th fireworks. i will refine the july 4th as we come closer to teh date and see whats going off on teh monday night v.s. a day early on teh sunday night. if i remember right i saw a post abotu possibyl boston on the 4th. we are onyl liek an horu from there or less. so tis should work otu fo possible fireworks on teh 4th in boston

Yeah we got the 91 940ti almost to spec for the demo shes gonna be hot pink and have the exhaust running out the hood via a custom smokestack.

this is an all day affiar. i gotta be up and have the car on the uhaul trailer for 8AM. the racing doesnt start till around 4 but you gotta get in line at the track around noon to get the good good seats. trust me. ill be leading everyone in attendance over with me with the volvo. it will make a nice meet out in the parking lot. bring stuff to tailgate with. and if anyone has a full non-facemask motorcycle helmet i can borrow thatd be sweet too, ya know like an older moped helmet.

T5's have trouble with them stock for stock. Last I checked, ain't too many of us in the northeast running low 14's and trapping over 97 in our RWD bricks... heh.

It'd be interesting to get some NE volvo guys who can dish it out against some classic muscle on the street drags. Besides, it's even close enough to fit it in between the demolition derby and whatever else is going on.

I picked up a 92 740T Wagon late last year, fixed it up a bit and sold it.

I am going to fly out to Michigan to pick up an 87 760 with the Converse Eng. H.O. 5.0 liter this week, and will be driving back.

Would love to come to an event, just need some directions and encouragement. I am an old geezer with a 16 yr old son.....but, we both love fast Volvos.

Any input would be really appreciated.

Mike, I'm still coming early, if it's allright...Although I'm possibly coming back in the morning on the 4th. Couple friends I haven't seen in like 6 months are going to be in Worcester having a party. Vicki and I are going to try to swap all of the fan components out of the car over that weekend, since the VX is making the overheat issue MUCH worse.

There's a place for a couple people to crash on the 4th if anyone's interested in Summer Nationals and watching ghetto-folk launch fireworks. (Although we'll probably find somewhere else to go for fireworks....Watching children toss fireworks into a puddle of gas burning on their driveway is NOT my idea of fun. :omg: )

Yeah, I'll help. I've actually got to pop the wheels off of Vicki's car again...I think one of the calipers is hanging up again. It kinda dives to the right when you brake. Not really a pull so much as that corner of the car dipping a little.

I have the rotors, pads, and well have the shoes. any thing else i need?

ok heres teh deal i work till 5 on saturday anyone coming down for friday night to work on teh cars has to find somethign to do while i am at work. brendon gets out at like noon. so i'm thinking abotu setting you guys up at teh beach. for the morning to afternoon till he gets otu of work. then he can entertain till ig et otu and then we can go tear up teh town hit on the ladies and make me look stupid lol. people that know me know i'll walk up to a girl and say just abotu anything so its gonna be fun. play pool cruise around yell at other cars.

whats happened so far? I have zimmerman rotors, mike, Viki & I pulled a 16valve head & a turbo from a ford turbo coupe and I lost my house/car/bike rack keys. Plus where still trying to get the trailer ready to transport the car to the track. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sorry I have not replied earlier. the 5.0 overheated during emmissions testing on Friday! coolant all over their floor.... I got it home but not real comfortable driving up there like it is. I am really bumbed out.... :-(
