How does MS interface with the Mac platform....or does it work at all?
I'm working with an iBook G4, and hoping to go to MS.
Thanks,
GREG

You need a USB/serial adapter. Other than that it works great. I've used it with Megatunix and with Megatune running in VPC. Both work great.

Great! Thanks! Where'd you get the adapter?

I got mine at Best Buy, but they've got 'em anywhere, probably save a few bucks finding it online. I'm pretty sure mine was a Belkin.

I used VPC on my TiBook with a Keyspan USB adapter for a long time without a hitch. At the time, Megatunix wasn't working with MSnS-e, so I couldn't use it.
What finally made me get a wintel for tuning was the whole "my laptop is worth more than my car" thing. It sucks having a laptop that you're always worried about it in the harsh environment of a car.
That and flashing never worked quite right, probably could have fixed it by twiddling with the USB adapter settings, but a purpose-oriented tunetop was the best solution for me.

I just got megatune running on my ibook under VirtPC, but it seems to take forever to do anything...
Anyone running Megatunix under OS X?
I understand that it works bit is a real pain to install.
Is this accurate?
thanks

I was, but I'm not anymore, since the TiBook was far too expensive to use as a tunetop.
It's not that big a deal to install if you've ever fought with dependencies before.
