I found these and I was wondering if they're worth trying out. For 15 bucks you can't really go wrong. What do you guys think? :???: Sounds cheap and logical to me...

LMAO
Ok i was looking at thesse like 4-5 years ago when i decided to give them a try. They are horriable after installing them on 2 wheels i decided I had gotten ripped off for 40 bucks. {thats what the 4 wheel set cost me at the time. Please do not convince your self that you will even get your moneys worth at that price. Once the two were installed it was very is to see the springs were cocked side ways and it was also clear that in a short amount of time thesse things would work thier way around the spring and lower them selfs to different levels.
I would stay away and clear from thesse things.

I had a set that I purchased from autozone. They were just fine, but they pinched the spring between two bolts, a little harder to install. I had no trouble myself.

That's ghetto, and probably dangerous. I'm sure they're made in china out of top grade materials. I'd be afraid one would fatigue, snap, and do alot of damage to my car.

car damaged? what about if the thing snaps and luanches into yor pretty face :???: I would only get those jaw type things that grab onto the whole spring, and not those 2 clmap things that are generally really cheap. I would feel safer.

You mean like "deflate your tires for a quick 2" drop?" :???: Cutting springs is rarely a good choice.

Baaad idea. A buddy of mine had a set of those on his eclipse... one of the bolts broke, and pitched him off the road into a ditch... he wasn't hurt, but it could've been MUCH worse.

Well, here's the deal. From all the responses I've gotten there have been good and bad results...so I went ahead and ordered them to find out for myself! :x: You can't go wrong trying them out for only 16 bucks! And you get four of them, two for each spring. Sounds like it will work fine to me. Guess we'll find out eh?
No I'm not Canadian.

Just be sure that those things don't hit anything when you turn the wheel
in the front. The whole strut rotates and you don't want those things
f@$&ing something up. They are ghetto and cheesy but if your springs
didn't rotate they might work. I personally wouldn't do it because the
strut rotates.

I don't think I'll have a problem with them hitting anything when I turn the wheel. And by the way, these won't even come close to coming in contact with the struts... Are you sure you're thinking about the same thing???

I still think cutting is a better idea.
