door handle

the inside driver side door handle keeps coming out of the door. its rather pestery right now, I tried fixing it with no luck. any ideas? it is a 1987 240GL

Pull the inside door panel and see if it needs to be fixed from inside.

Try calling a body shop, Im sure they have a trick or two up their sleves.

I found what it is there's a metal plate that slides over and locks it in. I just had to secure that medal slate.
