i find the volvo emblems blocky and distracting to the look of the volvo rear end. so one night before i had my license, while the car was just sitting in the garage, i went to town with a hair dryer. i would heat up about three letters, then pull at it with some dental floss(or thin fishing line). after all the emblems were off, there was the nasty residue of the old emblems. so i bought some 3m adhesive remover. this may take a few nights, but is definatly worth the effort. after my car got painted, i put an 'S' emblem from an S60 and the volvo fender emblem below my right tail.
