I need to get those HID-like bulbs (not the reat HID kits, they are too expensive right now). Anybody have suggestions on which ones would be best? I have done some reseach and see that they range in prices!! I have heard the most about phillips blue vision, phillips vision plus, PIAA. Thanks.

I use Sylvania Silverstars and I like them alot. Not too sure on longevity but I know alot of people who like them. And they really are a very bright white (not really bluish, just no yellow and pure white light) Definatly helps in contrast and such over original bulbs. They can usually be found for under $50 a pair

Kragen has the SilverStars for about $ 30 for the pair. I am on my second set as they don't last long. Definately brighter and true white light...
