Hi all,

New member here.

I have a 2002 S60 AWD. I really want to upgrade/change the rims. I just started my search and seem to have hit a snag. I went to a local rim shop which is very large and seemed to have a really big selection. However, the salesperson told me there are very few rims available for my car. He said that the Volvo has an unsual "bolt pattern" which makes finding rims for it difficult.

I really wanted to get graphite colored rims (my car is graphite) but they told me there is no rim available for my car in graphite. Can this be true?

First question.... Is this bolt pattern deal true?

Second question.... Where can I find a good selection of rims for my car. The place I went to was only able to find three rims which would fit my car. Of the three, the only one I somewhat cared for was a Fondmetal #6500 Silver 17x7.5.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

BTW, I'm in the NYC metro area if anyone can reccomend a shop I can visit.

Larry

There are many wheels available, but if you want the best quality go oem. The Volvo dealer has a great selection of 16 & 17"

Here is a good place to see the oem:wheels (http://www.swedespeed.com/resources/gallery/special_cars/wheels/fwd_17/index.html)

here is a place to buy some oem:buy wheels (http://www.aaarims.com/specials/volvo.shtml)

Here is the Tirerack, don't have them mount/balance, they don't have a clue how to:tirerack (http://www.tirerack.com/index.jsp)

This is the wheel I am getting, onit's way from the motherland!

Hi,
I would hardly think the Volvo wheel pattern is unusual. It used
to be. But, since Ford Taurus uses the same pattern I could hardly
say that nowadays. Anyway, personally, I have only had good
experiences with the Tirerack. Including mounting and balancing
my wheels. I did buy 15x7 wheels. Not state of the art. However,
I bought Borbet wheels and the quality is definitely as good
as OEM. I also second Wills recommending Volvo accessary wheels they are great quality wheels.

So does this mean I can just go to my local Volvo dealer and order one of the wheels you posted?

I really like the Titan.

are those R rims from the New V-70R???

They look badass...

FYI:
Rims = hubcaps
Wheels = what your talking about
tire = rubber

No, rims is anything with rubber on it (cept for what your thinking Jack...hehe).

Anyways, AWDS have differen't offsets so I'd find out about that first. You maybe able to use other R v70 AWD wheels though.

I too drive an S60 AWD, and I'm also considering a new set of wheels.

We purchased a fantastic set of 18" BBS CH wheels from www.tirerack.com for our Jetta and had no problems at all. The wheels were shipped directly and their customer service is solid.

I was thinking of these for our S60:
