Hey guys,
Well, I know after yesterday's show, that I wasn't the only one looking for Volvo marked shoulderpads for them seatbelts.
After searching the net world round, I never found ones with Volvo on them, and oddly, the source arrived in my backyard.
A local guy found a supplier in Europe who was making them that way. Fabric/sewn on 'Volvo for Life' patch. Three colour combinations. The patch is always white, but the pad fabric is blue, black or grey.
I've sent his contact to Frank at www.eurosporttuning.com
Hopefully you'll see them available there soon. I paid $20 Cdn for the set. Don't know what Frank will charge, but it is comfy and looks great. Many people approached me on where to get them.
If anyone lives in London, ON or Kitchener, ON, he usually runs a kiosk in Fairview mall in Kitchener, and I'm not 100% where in London.

Doug, here's a picture of the shoulder pads.
Sorry about it being sideways. Don't have an editing tool on the PC at the moment.
Again, available in blue, black and grey fabric.

Heh heh!
I thought putting a windshield splash like the new Jeep slogan would be funny:
"It's a Volvo thing, you wouldn't understand"

If you're coming to the London show on Sunday, then yeah, I can pick up a couple of sets for you.
If not, I'd have to talk with the distibutor to find out who's distributing them in the USA.
Let me know on the show thing.

Hi Rob,
I'd love to goto the show but I won't be able to make it. I have our NJ show coming up on 8/2. I'm also trying to get the folks that are left in Rockleigh NJ to let us get together there for a very informal gathering. No answer from them yet. Would you buy them for me? I'll send you the money plus some shipping. I'd be glad to give you something for your time and effort. If the distributor is looking for someone to sell them I'd be interested in
trying to sell them in the US.
Thanks very much,
All the best,

Again,
If I have to sell them across the border, other stuff comes into play. I'd have to ask the distributor here who's in charge of selling them in the USA. If noone, send me PM with your mailing address and you can buy direct from the dude.
He sells a set (2) for $20 Cdn here.
I love the feel of shoulder pads. I dunno why. I guess I got too used to them when I had them on my civic. Plus, it's not abrasive! ^_^
But, do they make leather/pleather ones? That'd be sweeter.

I knew a volvo truck had already been made.. but that is ugly... I'm actually going to make mine a truck with a bed. It should be nicer than that.
Thanks for the pic:)

Well, as to this manufacturer, only the fabric models.
Blue, Black and Grey fabric with that patch on it.
They are quite nice on the shoulders. I've heard from the women who've been in the car that they're especially nice on the bare shoulders when wearing tiny tops. That's a logical statement there. The tiny tops were much appreciated too. ;)
Hmm, well, thanks. Maybe I can find a manufacturer that does leather ones. It'd match the interior better. I've only seen leather ones that are blank myself. Those would probably do, too. Just the "Volvo" on it looks good.
Oh, and that Truck-lvo looks awesome. A brick with REAL brick-like handling. Ya think it can tow yachts?

Yachts? Maybe with a V8 and some serious suspension modifications.... maybe like this!

OK...
Folks! Sorry for the late posting here, but it's been a stupid year.
I've just become mobile again after a month and a half. Snapped my achilles tendon, darn it! Anyways, walking again, so I made it down to the mall to ask Amyn about US distribution rights.
Well, apparently there isn't anyone in the US selling these things, so yes, he can send you guys the shoulder pads. He sells them for $20.00 Cdn for the set.
SO, to order, please contact him at:
