hey guys,

my 1979 264GLE has those really ugly "tan" coloured doors on the inside,
and after veiwing club volvo's 242TI , I was wondering how the inside of its doors were painted/sprayed black?

Is it a simple process of just getting a spray can of black paint or is it more involved?

BRAD.

painting door panels

There is a specific type of paint developed for painting Vinyl and
interior plastic panels. You shouldn't paint fabric with this paint.
But you can change all the vinyl and plastic to just about what
ever color you desire. Most auto restoration companies can supply it. Most chain auto stores have it or order it for you.

Have fun!

Or y ou can go to a junk yard and go find some black panels and everything. Shouldn't be too expensive.

Cool thanks guys, I might head down to my local auto store and pick up some paint for the job, wish me luck!

Oh yeah seeing as it is only a few weeks till christmas here, I should be gettin my exhaust done very soon. YIPEEEEE!!
Then all thats left is to track down some 3.5 inch flexable hosing which will enable me to install my pod filter.

catchya later guys,
BRAD.
