Impreza seats in a 242?

Can it be done without much modifcation? I've never replaced seats and brackets would be sexy..Dont know what it takes to install them if things need to be welded or duct taped Impreza seats look dooope.

If other car seats can fit in the given area of the car. Then it's usually a matter of having brackets fabricated. Many times fabricators will use the base of the original seat and mount
the new seat to that. Or you might need a combination of some brackets from the Impreza seat mounting in this instance. You have to look at the way each seat gets mounted and account for that in the Volvo. Usually you can hire a racing fabrication shop to make this kind of thing for you. The shop won't be cheap but you want a safe quality job that won't break in a crash.

Check the width at the bottom and the width you can use in a 240. Probably not an issue though.

Anyways, you can really adapt almost any seat to a 2/7 series volvo cause they have the flatest floors around.

yeah, make sure u get it done properly, i had a frined who bought some racing seats thinking they were a bargin, she was in a acident and one of the welds broke and part of the frame broke her ribs and runtured her lung. she had to retire at 27.
