Anybody in So Cal??

Just curious if anybody else on the board is down here. I am about to do some tuning on a b230ft and wanted to see if anybody was around to hang out and chat, or better yet see about building a 16v turbo with me for weekend ****s and giggles. Everybody needs a hobby, this is mine, building all sorts of V turbos because it is cheaper than crack.

I am actually going to do a 16v+t build up and tweak my b230ft in my p1800. Thought somebody might find it interesting for their own reference to see it done in person as opposed to just reading threads.

My main problem with Tbrix is someone always swings in and craps on the 16v+t thread and people either bs about building one or don't give out accurate info.

That would be great to have another 16V buildup thread. Doug is also doing one but that has been quiet, lately. Right now though you can't upload pics to the site. Hopefully we'll be able to get that fixed soon. Once you are ready let Doug know and he can sticky the thread.

I may go the richboy build up route and put it up on my site. I found a few 242s for 1500 or less and may pick one up to play with as a mule before I get another p1800 in the bodyshop.

Would love to have some friendly faces around while I do the build, but if that is not possible, I'll go it on my own (again).

I have a GT40 in the garage right now, that should be a pretty hot turbo.
