View Full Version : Suggest me a non-programmable ignition system
For reasons I won't go into, I need to run an ignition system based largely on a standard red-block one.
What is out there to enhance Ye Olde Worlde ignition systems? Is there anything fancier than a bodgy "dizzy regraph" that you can do?

How Olde are you talking about?
Points? That awful Chrysler thing with the white dizzy cap? EZK? What?
Also, distributor gears DO wear out. Over 20 or so years, this can lead to some significant slop in the timing. Perhaps a good "upgrade" would be a brand new Bosch distributor?

MS can do spark only; I believe it's called "Megaspark" in that guise.
