Good or bad?
OMEX makes a fully digital fuel/ignition system like Motronic, Haltec, etc. but they are a smaller UK company. You can find a little bit about them on the web but I was more interested in the talk on the street/track if there is any. I think mostly they are set up to support racers. Their new 700 series box is pretty full-featured.

Omex are based about 1 mile from me, they're EMS is actually a lower level JEMS ECU, I've had a few dealings with them as they were selling LM-1's under the name of RBH Tech.
They're 700 series EMS does just about everything that you could want, and it relatively cheap considering it's features(£1000 inc vat).
Only thing it doesn't do is support peak and hold injector's but that's not too important for the power level's most of us are making, you can buy Hi-z injectors upto about 600hp, but for those of you with forced induction V8's in mind you would probably be better off with something else that support's Lo-z injector's.
Last time I spoke to him they had just finished dyno tuning an 850 with 450 whp, not that impressive compared to the swede's but he didn't go into detail regarding the motor.
If you want to call them ask for Richard as he is the main developer(and Owner I think).
Anyway I hope that helps

Thanks for the info.
I would say that 450 hp at the wheels of any Volvo is extremely impressive, even if it's not a world record. Gonna be hard to use 450 hp in an 850 anyway, in anything but a straight line...
