I'm very happy with the way they came out.
I still need to wire them up and aim them, but that will come later.

i thought about it, but couldnt find a practical way to do it. If I would have mounted them under, they would have hung down way too low.

Those look GREAT! I'm gonna have to get me a set... Luckily my bumper is already drilled. Maybe luckily...have to check to see if the holes are square, since the lights that were installed were removed before I bought the car.

*goes in search for a set*

I placed mine like this;

That's Hella Rallye 3000, Biatches.. 500 is way too small for norway ;)

How do you find the light difference? Are they wired up to your main beams (high beams) or by switch on dash?

Yeah, but in TX, when it gets about 105, you need ALL the flow you can get! lol

Well, it's kinda cold here the year around, so I can live with 2 weeks where it goes to 80% approx :P

but, I liked noz-e8tr's setup :)

ha, im glad this thread is back. I need help with wiring. I have wired them up just like the diagram says, with the exception that the switch is powered by a constant 12v instead of by the highbeams, but every time I turn them on, the 15 amp fuse between the relay and the battery blows. I cant figure out what I am doing wrong.

ZyreX
07-26-2005, 04:54 AM
Hmm.. I didn't have a diagram.. You're using a relay?
I'll see if I can find one, but I doubt it..

dmcgee
07-26-2005, 05:49 AM
Yeah, I am using the relay that came with the lights.
I can post the diagram, if it helps

I might have figured it out, will let you know tommorrow

dmcgee
07-26-2005, 07:38 PM
Tried a new switch today, still blows the fuse everytime. I am wondering if the relay is bad. Any imput would be helpful.

I got them working, The wiring diagram had the ground an the hot wire for the lights backwards.
