peggies really are one of the nicest OEM wheels (besides polaris). Big enough to fit good brakes, hard enough not to bend.

they weigh a ton though, each peg+avon @35 PSI weighed almost as much as both steelies with snows. The wheels are ridiculously well-built and solid-feeling though, and I love how well the styling goes with the angular lines and beveled edges of the 800's and 900's styling.

LOOKS AWESOME MAN!
ya peggies are nice, i really must be honest, they arent the top for me on volvo wheels. Polaris is prolly the better. But never seen them on a 9...and WOW!!!

and heavy enough to keep the car planted over jumps.

As do I.
Its exactly what I would want a 940T to be :)
Looks great, keep it up!
Any plans for the future?

when I get my hands on $5000+, I want to do a T6 with twin t25's or something similar + m90 + an air-water intercooler + retrofitting the Mk. 1 IRS in my side yard into the car to make the poor man's e39 m5. I have it all planned out, with all of the costs and parts I will need, I just need the cash.
I also want to get 960/s90 side skirts anc clear taillights, plus getting all of the pinesap marks on the roof and trunklid fixed along with the egg spot on the fuel cover that was there when I got the car. I also want to sand and bondo the scrapes on the painted portions of the bumpers and get them professionally repainted.

Serious business :) Sounds like a fun project!
All planned out already, sweet!
Do u know what is involved in retrofitting the Mk. 1 IRS suspension?
Require custom mounts, etc?
I have a hard time deciding what I want to do on my 242. It seems to like close to stock for a DD. Needs a new drivers seat bad though.
take care
Sweet. Peg's are a garuanteed win.

:-P ..i know. I was backing ur opinion...on ur old 242, they are hot, but I think the ones you had on there before were a smidge better. Why did you change? just curious.

Wouldn't clear the brakes. Had brand new tires in 17's and the only thing that would clear were peggies.
I liked the moda's on the car better too. OR 18" peggies. The 17's dont look nearly as nice imo

I like my 17's, at least on the 900's where the style of the wheels and the style of the car match. I can see though how on a 242, wheels that are so different from the car style-wise would look better in a larger size. I'm happy with my 17's though, they're not too big, and not too small for my liking.

If you want to hear my opinion, lol, other than it needs to be dropped at least an inch, I think it's begging for 18's. But money comes in the way of that, and they'd cost even more, blah blah. But if I was going for looks, 18's would fit it better.
So none of that matters :-D Continue with your regularly scheduled programming.
