Tune shope how long?

Im takin my 87 740 volvo turbo with
95 engine
brown tops
90+ turbo manifold
Garrett .42 15psi
IPD turbo cam
crane cams coil and ignition
Ms&S

How long would it take a tune shop tune a volvo?

Its 150 an hour so jus wondering how much
am i goin to spend?

It really depends on how competent the shop is. But factor on 2 hours minimum.

yea WOT tuning will take around an hour or two, you'll probably be on your own to tune cruise

Our local (well respected) dyno tuner said that on a typical car he will spend about 3 hour's setting thing's up. (£70 iirc)
And for that he says that he focus's on 3 area's:

1. Idle and low rpm to achieve lowspeed driving.
2. 60,70,80 and 90mph cruise zones as these are the most commonly used on the motorway.
3. WOT tuning.

He reckon's that if he get's these spot on the customer's always happy and if they want anything more then it's usually a bit of an odd ball setup.

He was going to run megasquirt on a customers drag bug. So he's it's a benefit to me that he's even familiar with the magatune software and MS development's.
