ever notice how almost everything you add to the interior of your car requires some sort of +12V source, well.
I was wondering what people have come up with interms of power distribution to the interior of a car.
What i did is used an 8 gauge wire that goes from the battery(fused) to inside the car and have several lines spliced off of that? Seems like there is probably a nicer way to do things?
has anyone used a powerdistrobution block? where do you find em?
how else are you guys doing it?

using factory or adding your own?
i dont like using factory because all of my wires on the right hand side of the car and the fues panel is on the left, (at least in a 240 they are)

i was thinking something like this
http://www.dxengineering.com/Parts.asp?ID=750&PLID=148&SecID=68&DeptID=23&PartNo=DXE%2DPFB2A
but maybe a 8 gauge in and like 10 14 gauge outs?

god bless 700's for centrally mounted fuses. and my ms is in the glove box. Really tho when you're running wire about, its not that far from anywhere in the dash to the fuse box on either model.
I've got 5 +12v's going out and around:
coil +
distro + (with el regulatoro)
injectors
ms
and one spare thats just beeboping around under the hood for growth.
good question, i know my 94 z28 has a simple little thing, it's basically two threaded rods conected about 1/2inches apart, one post is battery lead, the other post has about 12 wires comming off it. both sides held down by a nut. i was planning on doing something like that when i +t/msns my 244.

places like del city and other wiring supply stores sell fuse blocks, run one 8 guage or something to it, and then have like 6 sepratly fused out's

I use the stock fuse block too. Plenty of spares..

Painless wiring makes all kinds of bitching kits.
I used a 6 circuit (iirc) setup from them, 4 12v constant and 2 switched (something to that effect) add on fuse block.
Look on jegs!

Painless wiring makes all kinds of bitching kits.:???: WTF :???:
My wiring is all ghetto'd. WB gets power from the fusebox, stereo gets power from the cig lighter, MS gets power from the starter lug, amps get j00se from the battery (only thing I did half right)

I don't know if you guys got the Fiat Uno, (small hatchback heap o sh*t) but since they litter my local scrap yard I have found one useful part on them, a small 2 post distribution block, just like the one described by oo4playmrright found on his Z28.
But if you got these horrible little cars then do them a far and remove the one useful thing they contribute to the automotive world.
