Need Some Help Please!!!!!!

I Need some help with my friends 1994 850 turbo! I've been into the honda seen since 98 and have knowledge of turbos, but never looked into a volvo. I told him that his volvo could be really fast if he installed a boost controller, boost gauge, exhauts and intake.

What are the do's and don'ts to volvo's and do you have to worry about a mass air flow or does the motor have a map?

Please any info would be grealy appriciated!

and do you have to worry about a mass air flow or does the motor have a map? AFM/MAF/AMM=yes. Map=no.
