Yeah, so yesterday I went a little nuts, and bust out some carbon fiber trim for my 242ti :freak: . I think I was getting tired of the dull black plastic of the window switches, and the color that I had painted the interior trim. I wanted something "sporty"... oh yeah, and I sure as hell got it. I must say it worked out alright. I had made up some flat carbon sheets (impregnated with high grade epoxy resin, to use as air channeling parts.
The first batch was too thin, and would have been a waste UNTIL yesterday. :-P now all I need to do is figure out how to align my glove box.

Yeah I know... It's kinda rocket style (rice). But who cares, this isn’t no "faux carbon-look kit" that I got at a rice shop... If anything, it ADDS weight to the car :-D . Whatever, I like it.

That be it!oo! i started building one of those out of boredom and extra spare parts, how did you wire yours up? Does the postion III pole get power from the connected position II pole, or is the position III switch a fully independent switch? Im dont want the button to do anyhting unless the ign is in position II, need to know if i need to use a relay...

iirc I just tapped into II (run) and ran that to the switch, then ran the outside tied into III (start).
Works like a charm lol... probably unsafe as hell too!

awesome!
What if when you pushed it, it would start up by reving up to the 4 or 5 grand. rrowww rrowww. But then again, if it was cold, that wouldn't be the best fo the turbo, oil and all. Still a cool thought. looks good!
