USB Serial adapters

OK,
What do you use for your serial usb adapter to tune MS?
How well does it work?


Right now i have an ATEN 232A.
It can read the outputs that MS has for gauges, but it can't send or recieve any pages for MS through megatune.

ya i had the same problem. And i built my ms without the stim soo i had no idea wat was wrong. Soo after resoldering everything, spending hours lookin over the board. Poi told osilentone who told me many usb to serial things suck. I just ordered this one from new egg. Once i get it and test it out ill tell u if it works.

It will let you control everything about the adapter. Never had a problem with it from day one.

ya the one i ordered works fine. But it does require a Male to female serial cable. It wont plug indirectly into the ms.
