Does egnition-box Bosch 0 227 400 148 have a immobilizer ?

Any differerense between Bosch 0 227 400 148 (B230FT) and 0 227 400 169 (B230F) boxes ?

what year car? its probably just the part number for the turbo ignition ecu, which does things a little differently than the NA one.

Immobilizer is in the ECU, not the ICU. I don't recall the US ever getting the immobiliser either.

ecu is bosch 0 280 000 563
in couple of days going to do the wires for my lh2.2 to lh2.4. so i need to know do i have to get a chip before or not

563 should be a non-immobilizer ECU as well. Only ones that had it were 984's and possibly one other variant of the 9xx series ECU.

yeah 984. that LH ecu is really old :)

if there is no spark, it's the EZK something.
