MegaSquirt No Start Pls Help?

I'm working on my Miata MegaSquirt and Spark install. It doesn't run. What could it be? I checked all the wiring twice and it still won't start. Any suggestions on what to try?

no engine
doesn't look like a miata engine bay
use of romex wiring is frowned upon
fuel pressure regulator appears to be disconnected

Also a poor choice in eye protection.

I am banking on the disconnected fuel regulator

But have you checked to see if your trigger angle is calibrated.
