View Full Version : Volvo OEM 240 roof rack

I have a chance to buy a OEM Volvo roof rack for 20 bucks. But I cant find any pictures of one. I really like the roof rack look and thinks it adds even more to the sleeper look. but i want to know what this guys looks like before i drive all the way to Seattle from Tacoma just to find out its a rusted piece of junk. Anyone know what they look like?

depends on what it looks like.
No seriously there are a couple of different ones I've seen that appear to be OEM.

patrick (tuff240) found a really nice one for his old black 245 turbo... had wood slats in it, probably from a 145? i dunno but it was pretty slick for a roof rack
what year did they start putting on the black ones? do they fit the same holes as the "classic" chrome ones?
