Soo we got bored tonight and decided to strap down random things to the dyno. We straped down my 91 244GL. Its pretty much stock with the exception to my electric fan and i installed a T Cam. The car made 94 hp which was 11 more hp than when the car was completely stock. Soo there was a NO2 bottle layin on the floor of the dyno room. I unhooked the air filter and pointed the bottle towards it.

yea but look at the stock hp curve without nitrous...flat as a board and peaks before 5K

That makes more power and torque than my truck did on the dyno.

Ladies and gents...can I get an almighty shouted "HEEEEEBSPEEEEEED" for the mildly bearded man with the death wish?

Awesome work...you've got my NA power figure bettered by quite some margin, although I'd like to see you pull that stunt at the track :-P On second thoughts, issuing such a challenge is probably unwise for public safety :-D

What if I run a faster time? Yours is a 16.5, right? It ain't gonna happen, but I can bench-race...I'll be pleased with a 16.9.

i'd sure hope so

hell, chris' GT with a 35 or 50 shot did something like 16.0 at 85...so it should be faster

Be careful when combining nitrous with the llama boost, if the big feller nods off it can blow your intake welds.

that's a kinda low number, my NA 940 made 94 hp on a dynojet with regina EMS and an E-fan with the stock cam. Maybe I should do a swap to a cam with more top-end oomph

All dynos are different. different temp, air density, ect.

How is that a low number if your car made the same?? What does the fact that your car has Regina have to do with anything do regina cars have less than 114hp? I would seriously doubt that volvo would detune an already anemic volvo with less hp. Also your car doesnt have a MAF soo thats one less restriction you get for a possiable more hp..
It was also about 94 degrees and about 35% humidity that night i dont know how hot it was up there in MA but i bet it wasent as hot as it is here...

Sweet... Direct port injection :)

I'm about to go back to stock on my car... not having a properly done +T is killin me gas wise. If/when I do my "mods" will be a modifiied air intake(a cone connected to the MAF), e-fan, and a B cam... I did 85rwhp COMPLETELY stock though.

FUN!

So you shooting the nitrous into the intake like that.. that translate to what sort of shot? 100? 150?

85 on a mustang dyno, bitches. Yeah, it's slow, but 1.7 faster than 94hp ^^ :-P

Sam, got your message sort of, a day or so after. I knew you must be calling about this nitrous experience. Now go to the track!! I want to see the AW70 internals.

105-110 at the wheels on a Maha dyno...not sure exactly, it only reads whp on the 'dials', not on the print-out.
