Seems to go with the territory with me doesn't it? Ah well...all in good fun.

Beautiful car btw...and I'm not a big fan of the 2xx series so thats huge for me to say it. You've inspired me to take mine to the shop this week and take a buffing tool to it, there's shine under there somewhere I know it!

Yep I love the color. I actually had it re-painted rewood metallic back in 2002.

I think it would look really good if you got the grille shine'd up and paint the surrounds under the headlights black to match the trim

Gonna go with a mesh grill and black tint on the reflectors. Turnsignals are also to be tinted.

I dunno, I definately agree on the front area being too bright (thats what i gather from what you said) but its hard to picture.

Do it! But make sure your painter does a better job than mine did.;-) I don't think he used enough clear.

favorite red with Volvos and the wheels really set it off to
look great.

Thanks dlot! That means a lot to me, I've always admired your car as well. Did you ever paint your flathood?

Nah, I didn't get it painted yet. I have some rust to repair again
and have been a bit slow to get to it. I did find a dark blue flathood
though and I put that on. So now it looks like a flat black flathood
car from far away. :cool:

I'm starting to like the look of the car with a dark hood and
the rest the light blue metallic.
